Matt is a passionate musician, with over 12 years of musical experience, who has a keen ear for many different facets and genres. Matt regularly plays in live shows as a guitarist and synth player with his modern rock band.
Matt was raised as a piano player before moving onto drums. Matt further pushed his expertise by becoming proficient in not only guitar, bass, singing, and songwriting. After having scored top of his class with a high band 6 result in HSC Music, Matt continues his studies in studying a minor in music at university.
Matt has been involved in many musical opportunities throughout his life including being a church band drummer, school choir, high school band drummer, and part of the Project Youth musical program.
Matt received the majority of his musical tutoring through Menai Music and took the opportunity to tutor students himself.
