Laurena Kranepuhl

Laurena has pursued her passion for music since she was 12 years old and has a fierce love for teaching.

Guitar and piano have always been her creative outlets, where she has developed a love for various guitar styles, foremost in expressive fingerstyle, and piano in both classical and contemporary styles.

Having completed HSC Music 1 and finding her calling in teaching, the love she curated for music education is her driving factor to help students strive for their best.

She is a very patient, compassionate, down to earth and encouraging teacher, with a bubbly personality and a keen will to inspire all of her students. She herself was a Menai Music student for 4 years and has been a teacher since 2022.

She believes everyone’s musical journey is individual and all learning experiences should be shaped to the needs and passions of each student. Her years of experience have given her the perception into the intricacies of learning and teaching music, and how each lesson should address each student’s personal needs and the skills they need to succeed.

Her passion also lies in Speech Pathology and inspiring and empowering young people to express themselves, to help students not only reach their musical goals but to be able to grow as people and reach their full potential.
